Frontend - web and mobile
We build web applications in React, Next.js and Astro, and mobile applications in React Native, Flutter, Swift and Kotlin. We design UI/UX aligned with the client's brand and user requirements.
Backend - API and business logic
We build backends in .NET, Node.js and Python/FastAPI. We design REST and GraphQL APIs, the business-logic layer, persistence in PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MongoDB, and caching in Redis.
Cloud-native deployment
We deploy applications on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. We work with Kubernetes - AKS, EKS, GKE - Container Apps, Functions/Lambda, and infrastructure as code in Terraform or Bicep.
DevOps and CI/CD
We configure Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Scope includes automated testing, security scanning and a deployment pipeline with quality gates.
QA - testing aligned with ISTQB
We prepare a Test Plan, Test Strategy, test automation and a UAT framework. Every project includes a dedicated Test Manager.
How we deliver projects in this area
Work on a custom application begins with Discovery, which typically takes 2-4 weeks. This includes business workshops, prototypes, hypothesis validation and preparation of the SRS - Software Requirements Specification - and SDD - Solution Design Document. We typically deliver an MVP in 8-16 weeks. At this stage a working production application is created, allowing the business impact to be measured and further product development decided. After the MVP, we run cyclical development in two-week sprints. On the client side a dedicated Product Owner is engaged, and on the SNOK side a Project Manager responsible for the schedule, communication and delivery control. The whole engagement follows the SNOK hybrid methodology, combining PRINCE2, PMI and Agile.

Is SNOK a software house? +
No. SNOK is an IT advisory and delivery firm. Custom development is one of SNOK's four pillars - alongside SAP, AI and automation, and advisory. What sets us apart from a classic software house is our methodology, governance, compliance and integration with other technology areas.
How much does a custom application cost? +
Cost depends on the scale and complexity of the solution. A typical web application MVP usually runs PLN 200-500 thousand. A full system with a mobile application, integrations and compliance requirements usually runs PLN 1-5 million. After Discovery we prepare a specific estimate together with scope and timeline.
Will we receive the source code? +
Yes. The code belongs to the client from the first commit. We also hand over technical documentation: architecture, ADRs and a deployment guide. No vendor lock-in - the client can take over development of the application at any time.
What about maintenance after deployment? +
SNOK offers maintenance and evolution: SLA, on-call support and further application development. Alternatively, we can hand over the solution to the client's team along with a knowledge-transfer process.
