Discovery and product design
We run business workshops, user research, user-journey mapping, wireframes, clickable prototypes and validation of business hypotheses.
We build web, mobile and backend applications where a standard product is not enough. We work with React, Next.js, .NET, Node.js and native and hybrid mobile technologies. We build solutions with a backend on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. We typically deliver an MVP in 8-16 weeks and a full product in 4-9 months.
We design applications for an organisation's unique processes. This matters where a ready-made SaaS system requires too many compromises, or cannot be adapted to a specific business scenario.
The technology stack and way of working allow an MVP to be launched quickly and business hypotheses validated before a full investment in the product.
The client receives the source code, technical documentation and the ability to take over development of the application at any point. No vendor lock-in.
We build in security and compliance requirements at the application design stage. Scope may include OWASP Top 10, GDPR and ISO 27001 - rather than adding these requirements only after deployment.
We run business workshops, user research, user-journey mapping, wireframes, clickable prototypes and validation of business hypotheses.
We build web applications in React, Next.js and Astro, and mobile applications in React Native, Flutter, Swift and Kotlin. We design UI/UX aligned with the client's brand and user requirements.
We build backends in .NET, Node.js and Python/FastAPI. We design REST and GraphQL APIs, the business-logic layer, persistence in PostgreSQL, SQL Server or MongoDB, and caching in Redis.
We deploy applications on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. We work with Kubernetes - AKS, EKS, GKE - Container Apps, Functions/Lambda, and infrastructure as code in Terraform or Bicep.
We configure Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Scope includes automated testing, security scanning and a deployment pipeline with quality gates.
We prepare a Test Plan, Test Strategy, test automation and a UAT framework. Every project includes a dedicated Test Manager.
Work on a custom application begins with Discovery, which typically takes 2-4 weeks. This includes business workshops, prototypes, hypothesis validation and preparation of the SRS - Software Requirements Specification - and SDD - Solution Design Document. We typically deliver an MVP in 8-16 weeks. At this stage a working production application is created, allowing the business impact to be measured and further product development decided. After the MVP, we run cyclical development in two-week sprints. On the client side a dedicated Product Owner is engaged, and on the SNOK side a Project Manager responsible for the schedule, communication and delivery control. The whole engagement follows the SNOK hybrid methodology, combining PRINCE2, PMI and Agile.
Technology stack
The team's certifications in custom development, cloud, DevOps, QA and enterprise systems confirm SNOK's readiness to deliver application projects end to end.
SaaS sector company
A customer portal built on React and .NET, integrated with SAP and supported by a mobile application for user service.
Services operator
A mobile application for field teams, built in Flutter, with an Azure backend and offline-first mode.
Manufacturer
A dedicated MES - Manufacturing Execution System - built on Next.js and Node.js, with SAP integrations.
No. SNOK is an IT advisory and delivery firm. Custom development is one of SNOK's four pillars - alongside SAP, AI and automation, and advisory. What sets us apart from a classic software house is our methodology, governance, compliance and integration with other technology areas.
Cost depends on the scale and complexity of the solution. A typical web application MVP usually runs PLN 200-500 thousand. A full system with a mobile application, integrations and compliance requirements usually runs PLN 1-5 million. After Discovery we prepare a specific estimate together with scope and timeline.
Yes. The code belongs to the client from the first commit. We also hand over technical documentation: architecture, ADRs and a deployment guide. No vendor lock-in - the client can take over development of the application at any time.
SNOK offers maintenance and evolution: SLA, on-call support and further application development. Alternatively, we can hand over the solution to the client's team along with a knowledge-transfer process.
